WARNING - FLASHING IMAGES BELOW AND PURE UGLINESS....
My school is a sports college (Don't ask me why I went there, Its the nearest/nicest high school) so inconveniently I'm forced to live through 3 repeat 3 periods of the awful subject each week. I don't hate exercise but playing the shameful game of dodge ball or football does not do me justice in anyway. Despite my loathe I do currently have a P.E kit apart from one very important key piece; TRAINERS! I never liked the look of sport shoes, I did have a unique fancy for the J.W Anderson hybrid trainer/loafer or a "Loaker" strictly speaking in fashionistas language. However the shoes were never put into production :'( My only chance to bag a pair of these babies is at the next J.W Anderson sample sale - Though that enlightening fact still doesn't guarantee me a pair in my size :/
I decided to give my inappropriate oxfords from Clarks a rest from the astroturf and hunt for some actual shoes made for the run on plastic grass. If I was going to wear the dreaded trainers I wouldn't want to be taken seriously wearing'em. So from my own misguided knowledge of trainers I knew it was either gonna be a pair of Jeremy Scott X Adidas or trainers in a ridiculous & lurid colour. "So where could I find shoes like this?" The answer is = The menswear department in Selfridges MANCHESTER. Today me and my father travelled to the city centre and walked out with these!

For all you trainer lovers out there in this wonderful world these are the Air Max 1 in a colour called CYBER! For people who have knowledge about A.I.R M.A.X.....1..... here is a little history lesson courtesy of "sneakernews.com" ?????
"Nike introduced its Air Cushioning Technology in 1979. By embedding Air Cushioning in the midsoles of its running shoes, it changed the way athletes approached and reacted to athletic performance forever. Eight years later, as Nike continued to bring the latest scientific discoveries to footwear design, the Nike Air component became larger – meaning greater cushioning and comfort – and was made visible for the first time in the Air Max shoe: now athletes could see as well as feel the benefits of Nike Air. Many Nike Air products were developed since then and many of them grew to become icons on and off the track"
And there you have it! I have no clue how to style these shoes, I should really go to Niketown or salvage through trainer forums to source some inspiration. I wouldn't wear jeans - Toooooo predictable so here is my take on how to style with tacky chunky soled fluorescent green shoes.
Wear trainers with smart trousers to add that essence of "I just got out of the office look" or channel your inner Eliza Doolittle with bare legs. If your a girl just do a Lily Allen and go full out with gold hoop earrings and a floaty prom dress. Your welcome :D
