Unfortunately...I start school next week for the summer term :/ I do enjoy school but sometimes it gets tough and having a break from it is essential. I hope one day that my occupation in the future won't need a holiday infact it will always be a holiday 24/7! My form tutor is an odd one, He cycles to school every morning and according to him. Its 3 miles (I know...hes crazy) and in form he likes to put videos on if we don't have plans such as assembly/phsce/planner signing, Usually its MasterChef, Mock of The Week or Youtube clips of funny animals. Last year I remember him selecting a programme called 'The Best Job in The World' - Its a competition to find the next caretaker for the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.
I wouldn't say I would be the keenest in my form of 30 to work on island for a couple of years but I'd certainly take it. I can imagine it stripping away all the unnecessary things from my life which I care about here not to mention I will totally see the world in a different way. The point is that why do I have travel halfway around the world when I can do it here, in the comfort of my own bed; I like blogging and if I had the opportunity to take it full-time then I would! But first I need to survive GCSEs and A-Levels...then I will back-pack.
My outfit is a mixture today, The point of the post was to show off my new (vintage) Western shirt. I like the look of Western shirts. Others don't - Thats good as its something you can't buy from Urban Outfitters nor Topshop/Topman and that meant...I CAN BE UNIQUE (in my school) ! Surely you don't need an explanation as we all know Woody from ToyStory, The Gold Rush and all these Wild West stories. But I will tell you where I got my shirt from a little INDEPENDENT vintage shop in the small town of Macclesfield called MAC VINTAGE. A total beauty of a store from 1950s tea dresses to great 1970s tooled leather bag. Its full of character and the prices are reasonable too! I always buy something there whenever I visit...always.
I found it hard to style this piece, It was large in the first place so I finally had to tuck-in my shirt for the first time. So it was either a pair of scout-ty Antipodium shorts or my metallic silver H&M trousers. I couldn't decided so I asked my sister and in her own words "The trousers as you never see cowboys in shorts" AGREED! but you also don't see cowboys in Luella 07 silver winkle pickers to so I can't don an authentic cowboy look :'( BUT how do you wear cowboy boots without looking too much of an American Southerner? It's easier for girls - look at Isabel Marant! and I'm not wearing a chunky buckle either.....so.....help?!
